Who else but Richard Feynman has said "If you think you understand quantum physic, you don't".

Who else has said that all "strange" quantum observables are the "same" as the double slit experiment. I gather at a deep level he knows that for the truth.

Who else told Murray Gell-Mann that he would remove the hyphen from his name. To which Gell-Mann threatened to add a hyphen to Feynman.

Two very interesting guys. One still going the other unfortunately RIP.

    Just some idle thoughts.

I'm a Feynman fan. Not only was he enthusiastic and inspirational and "the great explainer", but his term partons was IMHO most apt.

See John Horgan's blog for something on Gell-Mann.

This is a pretty good summing up. All the weird stuff seems to come down to some inference effects, that requires the need for negative probabilities.
