    But the "emission" does NOT happen from the EH. It is from ABOVE the EH. Hence, the redshift is not infinite. It doesn't make a "different" prediction. They don't.

    Not strictly correct, but good enough. It isn't really correct to regard objects as moving through spacetime. In relativity, one would consider the velocity as a unit tangent vector of the world-line...
