    Wasn't sure where to put this. It could go in classical physics, or general relativity, or ... But it is news from CERN and this sub-forum was a bit unloved.

    CERN: AEGIS completes installation

    This is an experiment to test the effect of gravity on antimatter. I think it is one of the most exciting modern experiments (even though I expect the results to be disappointingly predictable).

    You can do everything right, strictly according to procedure, on the ocean and it'll still kill you, but if you're a good navigator at least you'll know where you were when you died.

    I think this is the correct subforum for it.
    Personally I agree with you, I wouldn't expect anything out of the ordinary to happen. Anti-matter shouldn't behave any differently than normal matter ( at least gravitationally ).

    OK. I'll wait.

    Oeewwww! I am so excited.
    But I forgot what I theorized about it... :S
    Or was that with dark matter. Anyways. I kind of think we might be in for a small (fine-constant like) surprise here...
