I believe that some cosmic reactions seem to have been energetic enough to fire particles through the light barrier, so that they arrive down here before the event that created them.
Is it also feasible for an object, like pure information, that has no weight in 3 dimensions, to travel faster than light? And is this meaningful?
The origins of this question lies in the "Life Lines" that Nature puts on the palms of our hands whilst a developing foetus; here, 100 years of "history" from the future comes back and is laid out on our hands before we are born. As we go through life, the lines on, I think, our left hand, change to reflect what we have actually done, so our palms are different. But is does suggest that the information about our "probable" coming life is out there waiting for us ... we just select the path we choose to follow in this sea of fuzzy information.

There is no such thing. It is simply not possible to accelerate a massive object to ( or above ) the speed of light; on the other hand, objects without rest mass always move at exactly the speed of light, and cannot be slowed down.

    No.

Please take note that on this forum we do not deal with pseudoscience; I must ask you to refrain from bringing up subjects like "life lines" and such.

    Thank you and sorry ...
So, does information stay where it is? Or does it travel at the speed of light, and we access it on the move. Information has, I think, to be dual-entity.
We can definitely access information in time just past, and time just to come. The closer the information is to the present time, the better quality it seems to be; conversely, the further away the information is in time, the fuzzier it becomes, and the more difficult it is to resolve. Which is why multiple exposures of photos of objects in the universe give us so much higher definition, as if the information is of a higher quality than it really is.
My reason for analysing the nature of information is due to my past profession of Technical Communicator, where information, how we use it, and it's primitive origins, are facinating to the Physicist in me, trying to establish just what it is, how it behaves, and how we can harness it and manipulate it more efficiently.

No, not necessarily. It can propagate, just not at superluminal speeds.

That's because we cannot yet show why it can,and not possibly because it cannot.(We don't decide Ƒor nature,we study nature) Ƒor now No.
Bodies attract each other at near distances, the convergence is inevitable. A fundamental, subtle spirit which lies hide in all gross bodies.(Newtonian gravity)

    Yes and no.

The mediators should be travelling faster than light.
It is not possible for any of the known mediators to travel faster than light(or gravity) through space.Photons are the fastest because they are massless. At least we don't know any such particle.<---- That's the hard way
Entangled particles can exchange information without conveyors having to move through space at superluminal speeds. Encoding and decoding on quantum particles isn't easy.<--- That is even harder.
So for now information can't be travelling a superluminal speeds.
I hate the idea of passing information back to the past.
