okay i've started self-studying physics and i see i've got to learn loads of maths. so i was looking for a book for an all-round intro to the maths i'm going to need right after one-variable calculus. i've found a mathematical physics text on the web; and i'm requesting experts here to check if it's a good one and if it contains all the maths i'll need up to EM and QM. its freely available in the author's website. have a look please Mathematical Tools for Physics
