I have provided several theories in both the mathematics and miscelleaneous section that have been moved to the trashcan because one member (Stranged) did not agree with them. No counter argument was provided just strictly ad hominums.

I had another posted response on perpetual acceleration moved to the trashcan with portions of it deleted from the trashcan itself.

I am here to discuss these subjects not be involved with, or cause, a personal feud with someone I do not know.

The ad-hominums I have no problem with, however when a thread is moved to the trashcan or posts are deleted I am stuck with one question: How should I approach this?

Scratch the "deleted portions" part. They were all strictly moved to the trashcan without cause an the ability to "respond to thread" turned off.

So far as I know ,you can (and it is fairly common) to continue the thread in the trash can.

Sometimes I even post directly in the trash can if I am not confident of the quality or suitability of my post.

It takes two or more to tango ....

The fact that they are in the trashcan does cause difficulty in promoting any discussion.

I understand the nature of debate is inherent with the nature of science and philosophy, however to have a thread or comment removed without any specific reason takes away from that debate process.

I can respect rules requiring no ad-hominums (or I can deal with them directly), however when a topic is removed because of one member, it removes the democratic and group aspect of discussion which science is founded upon.

I will check the ability to respond again, but last time I checked it was not even an option. However, that is a moot point.

I am here to discuss ideas, not cause problems. I don't expect everyone to agree with me, but I expect a counter argument as to why I am wrong.

I mean the trashcan thread, not this one.

Might be a separate issue. Not all the threads in the Trash can are locked.

I don't always get replies to my threads.I don't feel that I am entitled to one. Maybe they were just not interesting enough. Forums are entertainment as well.

This one is locked. I agree that I am not owed a response, however to be trashcanned because of one person's disagreement is censorship. In regards to the "interest" level one or two days does not give proper measurement to that level of "subjectivity". Generally uninteresting threads are ignored and cycle to the bottom or another page.

It does not matter, considering I re-posted them. If they are trashed again I will just keep putting them back up.

The reason your posts were trashcanned had nothing to do with Stange, it was me who did it. They weren't reported by anyone, I just read them.

Unfortunately, you have fallen foul of the forum rule specified below.

    Please read the rules:

You really should read the rules before posting. Do not put them back up again, they do not belong in this forum.

    1. Stop posting crap.

    2. Go and learn some basic physics then try again.

    3. Learn what "ad hominem" means.

(Alternatively, find a forum with no interest in serious science where you can post your word salad without being challenged.)
You can do everything right, strictly according to procedure, on the ocean and it'll still kill you, but if you're a good navigator at least you'll know where you were when you died.

Okay, but I am confused. So I am asking this question strictly out of ignorance and not in the spirit of "rebelling against the rules". If I can ask these question so I can gain some clarity in order to not break the rules established here I would appreciate it.

    1) The nature of reflection be a root in mathematics, as a question and presented argument, was posted in the mathematics section. If I broke the rules, fair enough, I am confused what rule I broke in that regard.

    2) The trifold properties of space question/argument, I put in miscellanious. Considering that many physicists are questioning the nature and origins of the ether and "chaos" I am confused what rule I broke in that regard.

    3) In regards to the post on the nature of relativity and philosophy...well it was under a post about the nature of philosophy and the sciences.

    4) The "nature of the axiom thread" I premised as an argument for philosophy. I may be guilty in posting in the wrong section, I admit, however could it be move to personal theories?

    5) The multiplication and division as foundations of temporality was striclty a thread arguing that the nature of time is mathematical by its very nature. That one, considering it is synthetic of various fields, I wouldn't know where to put.

    6) I don't understand how breaking space down into two categories of "stable/non-moving" and "fluxing" is unscientific considering all science observes degrees of categorization.

Again I ask these questions strictly in the spirit of ignorance, so I do not repeat the same mistakes again. I am not "trying to step on anyone's toes".

Can I just post these in personal theories? I am presenting arguments, not simply stating these things exist/do not exist without a reason.

No, you cannot make new posts in personal theories. The personal theories and trash can sub-forums are places where posts get moved to by moderators. This forum is for the discussion of established science only, not for people to post their own personal theories in. Also, this is a hard science forum, so not a place for philosophy - there are other forums out there for that. There is a very good reason why we do not have a philosophy sub-forum.

If you are discussing established science, you may be called upon to provide published and peer-reviewed papers (published in reputable journals only) to back up any statements you make.

If these rules sound oppressive, then you must understand that this forum was set up as a hard science offshoot from thescienceforum.com, where the rules are a little more relaxed. It was decided on that forum that people needed a place to discuss physics issues without any extraneous "noise" from individuals peddling pseudo-science or navel gazing, without anti-relativists or people with axes to grind about well established scientific principles, and without people constantly proposing their own ideas and trying to pass them off as adhering to the scientific method.

In a nutshell, this forum is just for discussing established scientific principles, not proposing new alternatives or interpretations. I'm sorry if you were looking for something else here.

Please stop posting altogether until you learn some physics. Your posts are infinite in length and incoherency. They are not structured in any kind of way that would encourage discussion. Instead, they are more in the style of a free-form, stream-of-(un)consciousness blog. Perhaps you should consider taking that observation as a stimulus to create such a blog elsewhere. You clearly feel you have something important to broadcast to the world. Since everyone here disagrees, it would be far better for all were you to find a different outlet for your urge to post.

    Fair enough, it's your forum.

Can I post a subject/question on the nature of mathematics being rooted in reflection if I make it shorter? It is strict math/geometry and there is a math section.

And can I continue the discussion on the nature relativity stemming across the branches of physics/philosophy/other sciences considering it is a philosophical question?

Also, one more question (not to offend you, thank you for your patience by the way):

Considering the threads in the trash can are open, why is mine closed? It is the trashcan.

You can discuss mathematics, but not the "nature" of mathematics.

You can discuss relativity, but not the "nature" or philosophy.

This is not the place for "meta" discussions.

If someone, other than yourself, wants to contribute more to that thread, they can ask here for that thread to be reopened, then discussion might continue. But as it stands, your posts are just a salad of words, so I very much doubt anyone will have anything positive to say.

And the salad-man continues his drivel-fest with his latest incoherencies on the nature of "1" and symmetries and invisible green sheep dreaming furiously marmite. JohnDoe--Please, please start your own blog. Since you can't control your compulsion to post, at least post away from here. Sorry to be so unwelcoming, but you are like a drop-in flatulent houseguest who believes he emits Chanel No 5 and refuses to leave.

It is actually a genuine mathematical question I have had for awhile. If I am wrong, good, but I want to understand why. If there is a math forum you can present me where this can be discussed fair enough, but generally it is philosophy and physics where people post these questions.

You don't hate me, you are not even threatened by me. You just hate yourself. I feel bad for you. I think you just need a friend to be quite frank.
